About me

OK, and then some.

    I'm a full-time wine consultant in Sonoma County. This entails matching wine to people, wine to food, wine to collectors and investors, wine to specific cellar locations.

    Working as a wine broker in a highly competitive environment, I found that the drive to acquire the finest wines available in an ever-changing market began to overshadow the practical care and operation of a wine collection. This became the advent of AcCELLARate Consulting and Wine Services. After many discussions and informal surveying, I confirmed that the bottom line about enjoying wine is pleasure rather than hard work. Then, a lot of research showed me that owners of wine cellars - of whatever size - would benefit from a wine manager. This theory has already proven correct, all over this fair country.

    AcCELLARate is one answer to many questions such as, "Why does wine seem like so much work? In addition, why does every winemaker make assumptions about when I should open it?"

    I have garnered wine knowledge from everywhere imaginable. My clients are my drive, and therefore my mentors. It's time for more of us to collaborate.
